Fine Heer EM M43 cap in gabardine fabric, less commonly found manufactured from this material, the constructed entirely of ribbed field grey colored gabardine fabric having the reverse rough textured surface, lining materials are grey colored rayon, the top panel has a black ink block stamping with RBNr, size 57 and 1944 date, having bias and ear muff flap materials of the same fabric, the two field grey painted pebbled closure buttons are originally sewn, the subdued woven trapezoid shaped insignia is factory straight machine stitched, cap was lightly service worn and there is soiling to the lining, there is no damage to the fabric itself and there are still some excess construction threads internally, ultra desirable, USD $2250 SOLD
